i think mine previous post got deleted even though this is general. anyone know th average bhp of malossi cast iron , polini sport? i may go with a malossi mhr rep or hebo manston rep as ive dropping out of my mid race ways. to much hastle. anyone help? thanks
too many variables really to give accurate figures.... but a good one, set up well might give 9 bhp at the rear wheel....
hmmm well its new aerox dave as my mid race one got stolen, got 21 ml carb again, pro rep pipe, super speed vari but i wanted to tone the kit down abit. i really fancy a hebo manston rep though haha, but yeah out of the malossi sport and the polini sport is the malossi the better kit? and yeah then if i went with the slightly more powerfull hebo i might consider the mhr rep? what do you think?
malossi sport revs slightly higher than polini sport, both very durable kits...The polini performs like your old D.R kit. Malossi MHR-rep is a pretty good kit 2 rings so pretty reliable, i ran one for a year, and would be the one i chose, very good power when set up right, around 12 bhp at the rear wheel...
Hebo not really caught on so much in this country, quite popular in other european countrys, have heard that the quality of hebo's not quite up to malossi/polini standards...
hmmmm, tbf the hebo manston rep is the same hp as the sport pro and more expensive id just be getting it just to say i have one. i need a kit that i can use on the standard crank of this bike and pulls well and also maybe keep standard gears. its annoying me i wouldnt even bother with the carb, vari, contra and clutch springs and pro rep my old aerox did 58-60+ on standard cylinder. this one for some reason wont get past 50..... its annnnnnoying.
