so then boys carbon fibre reeds or not iv heard off a few people if i put them on theyll just break...any advice apreciated thanks
1st of all stop listening to people who obviously dont know what theyre talking about... just replaceing the stock steel reeds in a stock reed cage wont really give much in the way of a noticeable power increase!! But it may improve throttle responce...and if the reeds do fail... carbon fibre ones should pass through the engine without causing any damage..where as a chunk of steel reed would
thanks m8 its a pm reed block aswell but just wanted to know if i should keep the carbon reeds on it thanks for the info ps it was midland scooter center who told me .fancy that a proffessional organisation talkin shit to their customers i hate having to shop there .there so unprofessional and service is poo aswell but i live miles from anywhere else. any way thanks m8
i had malossi reeds in a standard reed block, they did improve throttle response but one of them did snap when i was giving it some beans for a while, didnt cause any engine damage at all but was a pain in the arse when i had 2 wait 3 hours 2 be recovered lol
