carbon effect lenses

Are carbon effect lebses road legal??? Also would it pass a mot with them on

 

Theyre not and it wont pass a proper mot. Police dont seem to care in the slightest but i vaguely remember someone telling me you can get a £60 ticket for them if they really want

 

I thought aslong as it flashed amber for indicators and brake light is red its fine

 

That's why police aren't bothered . They're not E marked though and you're not really allowed coloured lenses

 

Also if theyre for a typhoon be careful making sure the screws line up properly all the way through or you WILL snap something lol

 

mine past an mot with carbon lenses just need coloured bulbs

 

my carbon lens for typh snapped when i fitted it, and so did my friends who bought carbon lenses, its just a big curse

 

my speedy passed with carbon lenses, it had coloured bulbs though
