My ped seems to be running a bit slower than normal, ive checked everything and its all fine, my mate said it could be because of a carbon buildup in my exhaust. Will this slow it down? And how can i sort it out?

    Thanks

bollocks, carbon only builds up excesivly after a few years. just the the bike serviced , like new rollers, belt, check the clutch is all good, give the carb a good clean and change the spark plug and cap

Recently had a new spark plug and cap, cleaned out the carb and air box, checked the rollers and belt, all fine.

I think the pipe is about 3 years old, isnt there a chance it could build up in that time???

bikes get full of carbon especially if shit oil is used. normal 50ccs have this.

by getting the carbon out i gained 10mph on my 50 which is a lot really :msn1:

its somthign you notice after you do it not befor as it gradually becomes lower and slower... a little carbon in a pipe covers the pits and smooths out the welds ;)
