Carb size

    When someone says 'I have a 22mm carb...' what does the size refer to???

    the inside diameter of were the slide fits i think i maybe wrong but i thinks its that?

    it is the internal diameter of the carb where it connects to the manifold.

    it is actually the smallest diameter through the carb as the 13mm dell's are underbored 17.5's

    rite so if i take the carb out of the manifold and measure the diameter of the hole in the carb then thats its size...??

    well, on the side on a flat peice of the carb. mabey clean it and then look as its pritty visible.

    it would be 12mm...thats one of the most common size carbs on a 50cc scooter :D
