carb problem

ok i am helping a mate to put a 21 ml carb on hes bike but as soon as we put it on it wont start i have cleaned the hole carb about 6 times but it still aint haveing it if i put petol down the spark plug hole it fires up fine but they is no petrol geting through the carb any idea wat it could be

pul the vaccum pipe out and create an immitation of the crack case compression( suck blow suck blow) til petrol starts flowing through the petrol pipe, the reattach the petrol pipe to the carb and do it for another 10 seconds to give the float bowl time to fill up

reattach the vaccum pipe and try and start it

 

i have checked the float and i have put a fuel pipe and spraed petrol down the pipe and it still aint haveing it

 

check the reeds?

 

i have they seam ok but ill give them a good check later any more thing that anyone can think off

well you seem to have established that fuel isnt gettin to barrel.
so to check take out plug kick it a few times to get rid of any left over fuel, then reattach and try to start, if it dont start check plug to see if there is any fuel in the barrel.

tbh if no fuel is getting to the carb then its either faulty fuel tap, vacuum, low compression at reedblock, faulty float or blockages somewhere
