carb adjustment

    how many turns should i turn the screws on my 17.5 carb running on a 70cc? could this affect the speed? thanks

    Try adjusting the idle screw as shown in this video, also what size main jet do u have in ?

    The idle screw is the one you can turn with your fingers with a spring and the mixture screw is the flat head screw

    okok which one should i touch? could the mixture screw be affecting my speed if its not set right? and how many turns should they both be on roughtly? thanks

    ok thanks , and the idle one shall i just try till it sounds right? like do the mixture one as tight as i can then open it 1 1/2 turns , then the idle one i do all the way up then open it till it sounds right? thanks

    np, switch your bike on and just adjust it from there rev it ocassionally so u can here when its changing, when it sounds about right then its tuned like on the video i showed u and for the idle screw get a flat head screw driver i think it is or a star one not sure and do the same thing as the man did on the video ;)

    it was open 4 turns :confused: ? i have opened it 1 1/2 and no difference , and the idle screw doesnt change anything and it still cuts out :confused: ?? any more ideas?
