get a strong bar on it, just like you would use to loosen a car wheelnut

with a breaker bar? without bodging it and pressing the brake no m8. and if you have you obviously dindt need the bar in the first place. missing the point, no way of holding it without bodging it so just use the smae tool that got it on there to get it off...

how could you press a brake and crack the wheel nuts? lol

you move the bar clockwise then quickly pull it backwords :D sometimes air guns ect cant untighten nuts/bolts so human bruitforce is needed

ye, an why butcher the WRONG tool to do the same job as the RIGHT tool does wihtout shattering/breaking and doing a half assed job of ...

dont bodge.. use tools as intended, things dont break this way.

Lol why argue just do what minor said, works for me, couldnt get the nuts of my wheels when i wanted to change it, popped down my dads work went in the garage and wizzed em of with an air impact gun powerfull as fuck, almost took my hand off, had to be on the lowest rpm doing them up as well, probably most powerfull tool in the world lol

always retighten things with a torque wrench if you can, an impact wrench can be used but its literally one or two strikes from it so best having somone sit on it and just use the torque wrench

couldnt agree more minor youre best off using a torque wrench to tighten as you dont wanna over/under tighten the nut (im pretty sure this can happen with impact drivers). just make sure you find out how many nm the bolt is ment to be done up to.

WOW. if you can loosen a wheel bolt tightened to 130nm with a power bar WHILE THE WHEEL IS FREE TO SPIN, then you must be very strong indeed.

cos i certainly cant without looking like a total retard flying about the place

Valied point there we had a scoot that had the same prob, and no way ,heat,wd40 six foot scafold (breacker bar) so i poped it to our local lorry mate , and used his air impact wrench, after it was clamped down first ,our imact wrenches 75 ftpds -and 110ftp did!nt touch it ,his straight off no damage no probs ,and as minor has said torque it up when replaceing it
