Hi Guys, I wonder if anyone could provide some ideas for the following: I have a 2009 Peugeot Satelis which worked well up to yesterday. Today it didn't want to start. I checked the spark and found that it sparks only ones right after pushing the start button. It also flashes the anti theft lock light after about 2 seconds while starting. I would think it doesn't recognize the keys, the same ones that came with the scooter and always worked well. Any ideas how I could reset or bypass the key recognition to see if that is the problem? Or any other suggestions would be appreciated. There are no Peugeot dealers here in Canada but in the worst case I could talk to one in Holland. Thanks much! Marinus
This is beyond even my knowledge. I don't really do this complicated stuff, but sounds about right that's its not registering the key, could be the sensor moved out of place?
The anti-theft lock light you mention is the alarm immobiliser light. There is a method that is used to identify the flash codes that points to the fault. What cc is your bike? There may be an immobliser bypass cdi available
Thanks everyone, After taking everything apart I found a poor connection on the immobilizer module. After I moved the connector a bit it suddenly worked again. So today I am going to find some deoxit and clean the contacts. That, together with some dielectric grease might just do the trick. Maybe this can be of help to someone else. It is a 125cc. The code flashed twice before the light came on steady. Thanks again for the responses! Marinus
