nut off clutch then the pad things off the pins that they sit on take old springs off and new ones on u may have 2 file away some powder coat off the springs (dno why they make it so thick that they cant go in but they do) then abit of brute force 2 put the pads (with new springs attached) back onto the pins

all i have done is took the clutch nut off and pulled the whole assembly off the clutch shaft in the engine case.

ok so you can try do it like that but it is very annoying lol. or get the big gold nut off that hlds it all2gether an the clutch will be off all of that and you will see what you have to do. you new the proper piaggio tool or you will have to take it to your local garage an get them to do it for you.

posted this on another post it may help you, this is how i did my springs:
"the best way the get the the clutch springs out is to take the clutch off with a impact drill with the back brake on, once the clutch is off put 2 clamps around the clutch then losen off the big nut. then let off the clamps slowly then when the clutch is apart use a vice and clamp it onto the edge off the spring then pull the clutch away utill the sping is off repeat this utill all off the springs are off. with the new ones use the vice to put them back in as befor, once there all in it works best with 2 people, get one person to push the clutch together and the other person to put the nut on but watch out as it crosstheads easily, with clutch put together slide it on put the nut on then hold the back brake on again the tighten the nut with the impact drill untill it's quite tight, 2 tight and you will never get it off again lol."

yes and i said in the othere thread ignore that completly... NEVER remove a clutch by holding the brake.. its gonna mangle a support in the gearbox = fucked engine casing (whole thing)

clamping against the pully's bend them = fucked pulley/toprque drive..

the big nut on the clutch can be undone with the correct tool and a hammer...

clutchsprings are plled into place via spring pullers or are installed wiht the clutch dissasembled. pulling at the unit wiht the spring in place WILL bend somthing.. the clutch unit hits an excess of 40,000rpm, you DO NOT want this bent even the slightest bit as it will go out of balance and again klill the imput shaft support/engine casing..

becasue somone managed to bodge somthing together and it worked does NOT mean its the correct way to do things.. so no it really isnt the best way
