Can I take 50cc for test drive

    Can I take 50cc for test drive without provisional license and cbt?

    Yes I know, I have a 50cc and wanna upgrade to 125cc. I just asked as I wanted to get my gf on 50cc and she dosnt have cba or provisional

    Depends.
    If she passed her full car license before 2001, can ride 49cc scooter ONLY, without cbt or provisional license as the category is already provided for on the license.

    You can ride it off public roads legally (i.e. to teach how to ride),
    But on the road you need the correct licence.
    Ring DVLC.

    well if you aint "legal" to ride then ... no ... also herd that the law has changed with the whole "i have a car licence so i CAN ride a 50cc"

    aparently now you gotta do a CBT no matter what
