hi.the part on my exhaust that holds the pipe from air filter has rusted and broke off my sons shit 50cc chinese scooter.can i just fill the hole in the exhaust and block up the pipe hole in the air filter and do away with the pipe.the [bikes not worth spending money on] or is it important.
without seeing the pipe and where it goes, im guessing its an emmisions type pipe, and therefore should be fine to weld a plate over the hole in the exhaust and do away with the pipe altogether
