First and full most guys & girls very sorry for just introducing myself like this but i really need some expert advise. Only August last year i bought a brand new Chinese scooter from scootercity ''Hunter Eagle 5 sport 125cc Gy6 engine ect..'' But today in-countered a big problem I'm going to copy and paste the message i sent to them just only a few minutes ago so if anybody here could advise I'll be really grateful. Only today the scooter seems to have died and i need to know the situation or what to do with it. I was riding home from work when i noticed the petrol gauge was reading empty strange as it was full only this morning but not only that all the electrics seemed to have died no lights, indicators nothing ect.. the bike was still running but nothing electrical worked on it. Luckily i was only 5 minutes from home so quickly got it back there once arrived i parked the bike up then switched of the engine tried to electric start it again and nothing so then i kicked started it a few times to see if it would at least start running this way.. After a few kicks i heard a loud BANG and smoke started coming from the exhaust at this point i stopped everything and locked the bike up and here i am now seeking desperate information why this has happend. The bike has only done around 1600 miles since purchase and in my opinion has been well looked after.!! Please advise what you think has happend to the scooter. What should i do with it. In your experience do you think a qualified mechanic will be able to get this working again.?? Any help would be much appreciated. bad earth. so many chinese bikes/scooters have this problem. find the main earth and sand it down were the houses, and the actual earth lead. and spray your electrics with wd-40 or something. maby some damp got into your leads.
