I've got one on each of the bikes and one I use in the truck.
Cost £30 each, bought 32gb memory cards for them.
Most definately worth it. Especially for your own defence in a works vehicle. (Where you obviously stick to the speed limits:rolleyes:)
But don't tell your insurance that you have them, some companies can be funny in the case of an unfortunate happening:rolleyes:, I have known them analyze the footage and reject a claim because they said he was speeding before the accident occured. Their reasoning was that if he hadn't been speeding prior to the accident, he wouldn't have been at that point and place and therefore wouldn't have been involved in the accident.
Any reason NOT to pay out.

I will never be able to use a cam in a claim then, because I am always speeding... [emoji23]

All the cams have a re-chargable battery, but I have fitted waterproof usb's to my bikes for the sat-nav and cam connections so they can run all day and night, or as long as the memory card lasts.
Also got my cams with the waterproof housing and modded it to take the charging lead through the bottom, then sealed the area around the lead with mastic so no water at all gets in through that area.

Fit a usb charger to your bike, buy a camera that has a waterproof enclosure with it and several different mounting brackets, modify the enclosure so the lead passes through it.
Hey presto, camera runs all day.
Just remember to take it out the waterproof housing when you leave the bike
