Switch in itself,is quite mechanical,so i'd be easy to remove lever itself... concerned bout just taping,so i'll superglue plastic strip over an smooth- main concern then would be ind.light inside clocks/no access., read somewhere bout needs to be incapable of use or not present., Sum-up:- Gonna hit mot centre in person mon.-> ,& talk to tester in person!. .

An update:- Thought i'd deconstruct the wheels today........ did I bollocks.!.,..try undoing 33 year old nipples on originals rims,f.that.., "DING",went an saw a mate,"borrowed" his "non-existent" bolt-croppers. , now i've got myself a nice little,quiet evening,living room table,polish + smarten up job,to occupy/self while watching the news, Be as smooth an shiny as a baby's keister(hubs),when i'm finished,with new bearings/seals/,spindle.nut/shoes+springs- then neatly packed away for later use if needed., Been a fair day. .

Looking at sorting out the spraying,priming,painting,rust prevention gubbins at the moment,after a bit more detailing.. - thinking Vactan + Zinc Oxide primer,then either Nato semi-gloss military green or maybe some type of dark blue.......
