Not worth the risk as far as I can see. Easy to pass and keeps you leagle. Get caught without it and your in the do-do. ;)

Even if you ride a scoot reg as a 50cc but with a larger motor in, (naughty in it's self! Tut tut) I'd still do it just to keep it right!
Get caught with a 125 in a 50 frame, get a slap on the wrist and a preducer, and re-register as a 125

Get caught with the above and no cbt test, your getting points!

Don't wanna sound like I'm preaching, but scooter riders get a bad enough rap from cops an the other road users, and we gotta do what we can to chainge peoples attitudes towards us.

every so often cops have a clamp down on riders,u cant fail a cbt so its worth it,if u get a producer u just wander in with it n show em then ur right if not- a £200 fine 3-6points,poss no bike

They are also now allowed to take away your darling little transport and crush it!!! Do your cbt mate i got 7 points on my licence before i even passed my test and insurance companys didnt want to know me i was getting insurance quotes of 3 grand on a 1.1 vauxhall nova and to top it all off i had them points until i was 22 years old i was screwed for 5 years!!

Take it from me bud its really really not worth it!

What hapens if your riding along one day and a mother with a pushchair steps out and you mow em both down!!! Your totally fucked then thats you behind bars no questions asked!!

ye i wouldnt bother without cbt, its piss easy n only takes a few hours out your day to be legit,
take it from me lol, ive had 3 driving bans fro driving cars with no license,
im currently disqualified from obtaining a full license untill i pass the extended test,
but that dont apply to provisionals+cbt

as everyone else said, CBT is the way forward,

although i read somewhere that 30% of typical chav teeagers dont bother with CBT's
obviously that fact aint aimed at anyone on here, they think that beacause a CBT dosent go onto a data base they cant get caught, i know MANY people that have done this, me myself, have always been legal :) and proud of it

I live in northern Ireland and about two weeks ago they brought CBT here , if you had a provisonal licence before two weeks ago, you have got one year to pass the CBT test, but now if u want to buy a moped and get insured etc u have to provide a CBT test , you all prob heard about it , but this is proof that the government or w,e wants to cut down on moped deaths/crashes , my point is just get it down, or infact get a bike test done , over the years it works out cheaper and a motorbike testing company told me that,

Cant you just request one from the DVLA? Im waiting to do my CBT now, but before that had to wait untill i changed the address on my license. Hopefully in a week or 2 i will be doing mine. Its not really worth riding without one as everyone has said. Goodluck
