Hi my name is sam and. Me, my brother and my dad own a scooter shop in the uk (www.boostyascoot.co.uk) we are going to make a custom yamaha slider but for the road My engine set up is going to be: EPC/RST tuned vertical crank case with aerox rear wheel Stage 6 cylinder Stage 6 crank Stage 6 teflon bearing Malossi over range Polini big vaule kit Yasuni R The custom features are going to be: Custom made front panle Custom made slide panles Custom under tray Custom cut outs Chroming with Custom engraveing Custom speed braket Custom foot bord panle Custom paint Aerox front forks EPC/RST engine from 2004 lelystad weekend in my slider frame The engine from the EPC gang has the aerox rear wheel conversion which is a very big conversion for the english scooter sence Engine all pluged in ready for first run The run went well but the rollers are a bit light and we need to get the malossi delta clutch. Now i start to make the panleing look very nice Cut out the tempeate out of paper and then paint on Cut the shape out and the paint another colour to see the ruff parts Mark ot the holes and then drill them doing the to both sides Putting the tree panle into one by scoring the plastic and the fibre glassing. Rub down the fibre glass and then fill to get a smooth finish. this takes lots of hours work getting it level. The foot panle i rubbed the plastic out and then filled it my dad then rubbed down the filler The foot bord was done before the speed camera and side bits were made into one panle Taped and screwed the panleing together to see what i could do to make it look better I have put expanding foom in to fill the gap and i have then shaped it Fibre glass to make the back hard Rub down the fibre glass and then scrach the fibre galss up for the fill to stick Yes i know it looks messy but it id the fristy skim of fill when it rubbed down looks a lot better Rubbed down and ready for frist coat of paint Now i have a big panle to do this has got to look right incase it will not fit on the front of the slider 4 in 1 there are four different panles in one 1. TNT 2 BCD top hump 3.BCD head lights 4. custom made vent Frist skim of filler Last scim just needs rubbing down I do not have picture of the but the side/back panle are the TNT and standard put together me and my brother liked the look of the TNT panles but not the way that they fitted so if you look at them in detail you will see that the bottom fits different here i start to see if every thing fitted New drop down bars now fitted and the fournales gas rear shock Drop down bars with home made speedo brackets New over sized diskon the front with the stage 6 carb mouth on the carb Home made clear plastic sheet for the foot panle to pertect the paint from getting screached. The panle have been at the painter for about two weeks and week have got the brake calapers back from chromer KNOW we start rebulding it Me and the banker (DAD) Custom flip paint from the U.S.A Holes drilled in to the front mud gaurd with rubber gromets Here is some pictures of the paint It us about two days to rebulid the slider
Don't get him started... *waits for the other million projects to be posted* Looks good but that's it. Needs an engine to match.
ker ching have to say though, the craftsmanship is amazing, i absolutely love the style, but i agree it could do with a motor to suit the body, it looks like a sprinter, so give it a sprint motor.
wernt liking it af first but looks decent now its together but please learn how to spell PANEL its not that hard :rtfm:
