Hi guys I was thinking of buying a 70s typhoon second hand. However, I then thought that ... hmm, I could potentially buy all the parts and make one my self. Well not me pay someone to do it.

Question 1 : Would it be cheaper to get all the parts ? how much will this cost
Question 2 : I cant do it my self so I would have to get someone to do it for me. ( Most of it) how much will this cost

2 questions answered would be great and any additional advice. thanks

Not at all tbh new parts no matter what they are lose value the second you put them on your bike. Even more so if you have to pay someone to fit them. Even Ebay etc is crap and expensive for even simple stuff like panels most the time..

I reckon building bikes yourself is something you have to want to do its in no way cheaper or more cost effective it's miles easier to just buy one that's already been modified in theory

definately easier and cheaper to either buy a fully working bike or one that may need minor work done and theres no point paying some one to build you a bike that would cost way too much
