well i sorted my bike after all that trouble with the top end gaskets and stuff, but now my bike sounds really loud and shit. i was wondering could the fact that water was flowing through the exhaust have fucked it up somehow?
presuming youve already checked the pipe for blowing somewhere... The baffle packing in the end can is probably soaked and needs changing!!! not a hard job really...baffle packing is sold at most motorcycle shops....or some people swear loft insulation does the job
never mind dave.. im sorry to say ive given up on this bike.. just took it for a ride and now the outside gasket in the head has gone.. and it sounds like a fucking wasp whilst bogging out and covering everywhere i go in smoke...i literally have had enough of it., ive spent too much money and time that i dont have on it.. will be in the forsale section sometime in the next few weeks.
sorry to hear that mate!! problem is youve tryed to cut too many corners...you knew the gaskets on that kit were wank... pity you couldnt wait to buy a proper gskt set...only a few quid as well
yeh i know mate, im too inpatient. well im buying some oroginal middle panels for the bike and im getting rid of the taky paint job,, buying some gaskets and a new exhaust. then its going on ebay.
