Brinkland's Yamaha Bw's Rat Look

Some pictures of my Yamaha Bw's .
I bought it on a little small island called Langeland located in Denmark because there are very few bw's cw50 in Denmark. It had been on a farm for 14 years - Its was 100% original

I had started to rebuild it " a for fun project" Rat look on the outside,but mechanically it is completely top condition
Brand new tuning parts, Stage6 Racing 70cc, Yasuni R Exhaust, 21mm Dell'orto Black Edition, Hebo crancshaft, malossi reed etc

I buy 13" Aerox front rim, and 5x13" Kiesler rear rim, Michelin PilotSport tires
First I made brackets for the rear caliper into aluminum( By Hand with a hacksaw, file-tool and a drill ) - and made some bushings for brake disc on a lathe
Brake caliper, mastercylinders etc i buy from a Gilera Runner
The Engine mount is extended 100 mm

Now with 13" rims, Stage6 Racing / Yasuni R / 21mm Stage6/Dell'orto, Hebo Crancshaft etc

Are you still using the original fork?>... front drums are so old school!!

 

Yes i use the original fork, but i have mountet 13" aerox front rim with discbrake and i have weldet a bracket on the fork to mount a brake caliper

but otherwise fit old school and Rat look good together

 

dude that is one sick bw's loving the rat look. i well wanna bar handle bar mine

 

i like the old red rims more than the aerox ones still a very nice project! good job!

 

hiya can u please tell me how/what u used to convert to rear disc and get rear aerox wheel to fit thanks

I'm pretty keen to do my benelli k2 100 commuter scoot like this.. so did you use spray paint for the tyre 'white walls' ? yellow glass paint for the light? i think yellow headlight is prob illegal here in the uk..

 

also what size are those original bws wheels? i love the car steel wheels look, suit the style so much.
