how do i mod the airbox lol soory i am very new to scooter tuning. also is there anythink else apart from a tt exhaust that will make an increase in acceleration and top end.
am not sure about modding the runner box but their is a vey nice man on here called capri dave which has modded his airbox maybe try drop him a pm might give you hand. to gain speed their is a few ways. next from pipe i would say bore kit is best power upgrade for your money and can work from their bigger carb, variator kit. is all down to money though imp:
no not a sport kit can be as realiable as the standard bore is fitted correctly jetting correctly and the oil pump is turned up enough can last as long as a 50.
having no experiance tho in tuning i wouldnt no how to make sure it is correctly fitted and if i did get a bore kit what other mods would i need to make it run smooth
i'm running a DR 70 kit on my area51, so far it's done 8,000 miles without any sign of a problem. thats with a21mm carb and yasuni c16 pipe.
get it fitted then. wobbly and tweak on here offer a good service and good prices so have a word with one of them if you need it fitting. can just bolt it on and will work perfectly but can upgrade with better pipe. bigger carb and a few other things to mke it go better.
can anyone recomnet a set up that will take me to 50-60 mph and be able to pull a wheelie without the aid of a bbk or is that asking to much
without a bbk i asked again because there will be parts i will not need as i am not goin to fit a bbk
get a laser x pro exhaust and a malossi multivar with around 4.5g rollers then you will fine mine wheelies good and has good top end bout 50-55
fuck all buying parts for a 50 barrel... buy a 70 as its the one thing you can fit to a stock bike to double power easily. then get a pipe/carb/transmission to match this. tuned 50's are like chainsaw engines
yes, you can get the 50cc barrel ported, get a decent pipe, 19mm carb etc... but it will still get thrashed by unmodded 70 kits. if you are so bothered about reliability, DONT tune it, thats the simple answer.
exsactally. buy a brand new bike. de restrict it.... sell it to one of us then let the tunning commence. if you want to tune it and you dont want a 70 kit then dont expect much.
