I have a 05 plate A/c piaggio zip with the standard front brake caliper. Does anyone know where I can get the pin for holding the pads in and the anti-rattle spring/clip?

unless someones got them from a scrap caliper your best bet is the dealers. They're not always the most expensive.I was recently pointed to a well known supplier for an ignition barrel clip. The dealers were half the price (and on my doorstep for collection)

Just checked the only thing they have is gimeca front brake service kit for gilera runner which has a different brake so pin and clip are going to be different :(

And stig what dealers? I can't find any and any garage I ring and ask don't stock these parts

If you pm me your reg number and chasis number I'll go to my local dealers when they open on Tuesday to see if they stock the parts...These folk are Piaggio dealers so if you want to call them, they'll deal over the phone and via mail order. It just happens they're about a mile or so from me so convenient

After long searching and many phone calls the conclusion is you cannot buy a genuine pin from piaggio they do not sell the part full stop was told by a piaggio garage... on the other hand though second hand ones are around most likely if you have a vespa or piaggio dealer/ garage in you area they will have a second hand part lying around for about £1-£2 :) The pin size for a piaggio zip 2005 A/C with the grimeca front brake is 38mm x 5mm
