Hello ive just rebuild my bike from scratch due to it being involved in a crash now my front brake had no pressure since the crash so i decieded to put the front caliper to the rear hose to check the caliper was not damaged now both cylinders have no pressure and no matter how much i bleed them on the caliper nipple theres no pressure any help is really appriciated
been opening the bleed nipple pressing the brake lever then tightening the nipple and letting the lever go back to its normal position
okay, if you pump the lever then keep it pressed, then open the nipple for a few seconds then close it and then repeat the process and make sure you keep topping up the brake fluid. the whole point of bleeding is to get the air bubbles out of the brake lines hopfully your using a clear pipe on the nipple so you can see the bubbles coming out?
right now i have managed to bleed the rear brake thats fine now same with the front to an extent as its fine if you pump it but then if you move the wheel then press the brake you have to pump it to get pressure any idea thanks
still needs bleedng then, it takes a while. only stop when you carnt see no bubbles coming out. and if the levers spongy then it still needs bleeding
ahh so that doesnt mean my master cylinders fucked cause i was about to purchase a new one thinking that could cause it
just a quick qeustion could a bent brake disc cause it to be like that as it looks slightly warped since the crash
right come down to the brake holds pressure if the front wheel is not moved if you move the front wheel then it looses the pressure so any ideas ? could the bent disc cause that
