bordering suicide after todays day in the garage (please read)

on friday on my way home from work my ped broke down just as i was coming down my road.
it was just like it ran out of fuel,

1 week ago:
i rebuilt this ped, new cylinder, piston, plug, small end, rebuilt carb, new fuel pump, new mani.

fired up and ran a dream!!

so today i decide to see if i can locate problem.
spark YES
fuel YES
compression YES

not much else a two stoke needs???? any way after much fucking about 5 hours later, i decide to try the original plug while i try a bit of easy start, BANG IT GOES! put the new plug in (that sparks if u put it to earth), no start!
old plug runs like a dream!!

i can say in my 10years of messing about with bikes iv never had a faulty NGK plug

im assuming under compression it must open a contact and left me sparkless

anyway with a brand new plug its fine now and the rope is back in the shed

RANT OVER!

 

ive had at least 6 shit plugs, i swapped over to lodge plugs

 

I just could not belive it sparked outside engine, but under compression it wouldent!
