Boost bottles

I dont see what a boost bottle does i have had one on my bike before and it did f*ck all.....
Waste of money...

 

Takes unwanted fuel out of the carb and then puts it back in later or something. I also heard it helps for acceleration but thats a pile of shit they just look nice

That's why Yamaha, Honda used them on there bikes. Basically shall we say, it's a crutch for a badly set up carb, it will mask problems. They do work but only for a split second when you crack the throttle open. Size and pipe length need to be right.

 

Where would you find out the pipe length and the size ?? ....

 

Or should i say how long the pipe needs to be for maximum performance and the size ???

 

That i don't know, i do know it's worth a try, you have nothing to loose apart from a few pounds!

 

Everyone keeps buying boost bottles and are forgetting to wire up a button and fill them with NOS!

 

Someone I know had one connected to a shock to look like a gas bottle
