Okay bit of a nooby question but can anyone actully tell me what an boost bottle does, i dnt see how it can boost speed or save fuel, does it just push more air threw or fuel?

    cheers

It's a reservoir that holds fuel/air mixture, it only work's for a split second when you crack the throttle open, a small boost in mixture. Early 2 stroke bikes used them, it affectively helps iron out a poorly set up carb. Personally i think they work, others say not. There not expensive, try one, if don't work for you sell it!

Basically if you own one.... place it in a bin

and if your planning on buying one, buy some beers instead :)

Rather spend the money of fuel tbh.

Apparently they seem to work on bikes which have disc valves and any improvement on am engine with read valves is negligible.

i got a boost bottle and tbh its the worst thing i done. it uses more fuel and slows my acceleration and top speed down so i quickly removed it :)

You must have fitted it wrong, they don't slow your scoot down or use more fuel.
