Ive never had one but from the research i did i got nothing but bad reports and no actual proof that they work!

I could be wrong but i was convinced i could spend my money on better things so never bought one.

    an age old debate,

    1. boost bottles DO work

    2. Boost bottles only work IF:
    >the bottle and pipe volume, diameter and length are set for that specific engine
    >the bottle is positioned correctly
    >the bottle is fitted at exactly the correct point on the manifold
    >the carb is set up for the bottle

***Even when a boost bottle is set correctly, the changes in performance are barely noticeable, there won't be any performance increase, just possibly better throttle response. in all honesty you would be better taking a £20 note (or however much a boost bottle costs these days), soaking it in petrol and setting fire to it. you would get more enjoyment out of it.

if you want to read up on how a boost bottle works then check out the YEIS (yamaha energy induction system) how it works on google, sure i posted one here somewhere but can't find it.
