bogging

    fucking bike wont stop bogging at low speed

    its not the carb inlet or reeds all have been checked swaped from a working bike nothing its not the plug cdi or coil the same has been done with them i cant think what else it could be is onley until 10mph then its fine fast as fuck actuall

    p.s its a 172lc runner

    nt sure but iv herd that old rollers can cause dips in speed , try checkin them

    no mate this is not a drive train fault you can hear that its the engine doesent want to rev up until 10-15mph

    i cleaned the whole carb today it has always had this problem even before i ot it

    cab is fine

    main 99
    idle atomiser 60
    slow jet 55

    it doesent idle very well either and if you try o pull off quick it cuts out

    mine does the exact same thing does a fat powerband kick in at like 10-15mph then its speeds along and bogs abit at top speed? if it does i changed my carb and now its fine

    thats air/fuel mix.

    turn the mixture screw in a turn see if it gets better.

    personaly think its either the jettings or fuel starvation

    its been said many times but turn the idle mix out 3/4 of a turn..
    if this doesent vcure it the rolelrs are worn or you have a shagged clutch

    right i will get back to all of you in on the weekend i will spend another hour with the carb and check the rollers clutch etc

    on the subject of bogging. when i put my malossi e5 airfilter on my bike it just bogged really bad i pulled the throttle back and it bogged and cut out it wudnt move anywhere. how do i stop it from bogging down thanks alot

    no cos it was already running a little rich mate if i upjet it again shud it be fine

    anybody and i hear ppl say they r shit with standard bikes so will it be a benifit with my setup

    not really to be honest your better of sticking a malossi eliment filter in the box
