ok so as title says my bike bogs out at light throttle. i took off the airbox cover and cleaned out airfilter. i noticed that there is a small split in the filter. could this cause the bike to bog?
well i took out airfilter today and gave it a good wipe. i cant see it being a carb problem as i havent ever touched the carb once. i then starightened out the filter as some of the edges of the filter were like twisted. i then put it back on and tightned up the screws. but only 1 of 3 of the airbox screws tighten up properly (bottom left one) the other ones done up but didnt fell tight. i then changed rollers and its running better but i have a feeling its the new torque spring thats the problem and its killing my engine off.
i have just taken off my seat to notice that there is a small split in a rubber tube that connects to a pipe that curls over the top and into the top of the carb. is this my throtttle cable?
no lmao :w00t: thats your vaccum pipe mate, no wonder theres two pipes that sit near the seat (neather should be stretched underneath) you say it has a split theres two pipes matey a fuel and vacuum pipe one is filled with fuel one filled with nothing if its not squirting out fuel then its your vaccum the throttle is routed on a rox from the other end change it with another one cable tie to 2 points at two ends job done
