Hi all, my son has a Aerox and keeps telling its 'Boggin Out'?? I have asked what this means but he cannot tell me. Any ideas.
"bogging" normally means that the bike isn't running properly when twisting the throttle. So if, when pulling off, it doesn't respond correctly, or 'splutters', then goes ok, this is called bogging. But this very same symptom can be had at the near top end of the bikes speed, where the bike is not getting enough fuel to achieve top speed. It can be caused by any number of things from a dirty air filter, an air filter that is too open, wrong main jet size, wrong pilot jet size, blockage in the slow running circuit, slide needle circlip in the wrong place, too rich, too lean. The list is long.
