ive seen some good ones before (no mot here for bikes)
a broken brake lever that was taped back on
a flat totally worn out tyre (on the canvas!) duct taped onto the wheel...
a tyre so worn out that it leaked all the air, so they used expanding foam to "fill" it....
    the list goes on really

and yes, thats not even bodge tape, its electrical tape, which surprisingly worked, until i pulled it off and threw it in the bin and told the customer he was a danger to everyone else on the road.... the same bike didnt have any brake pads left actually....

Why would they even tape it back together?!
The tape probably cost more than a new lever which is less than £5 right!? Haha.

Mole grips for a gear leaver , yeah i done that lol.
mam's best tights as an airfilter also done that to.
cardboard toilet roll as an airbox and coupled with mams best nylon tights, yeah im guilty of that one also. worse part to that mod was we flet tip penned K&N on the side lol
ducttape to hold the petrol tank to a frame ... GUILTY.

But they all worked down on the fields

But i never came across a taped up bust brake/clutch leaver lol, yes i have replaced them with push bike leavers but never tried to tape one back together ( im not that stupid LOL LOL mind you a cardboard airbox is boardering stupidly daft so are mole grips for gear leaver )
