Basically. just a random question, mainly aimed at DYS etc, or anyone that knows theyre components and has/of have had a bmw,

anyway, my front speakers....are....FUCKING...TINY!, and im planning on getting a sub and new headunit ,speakers etc...and im wondering, What is the best make of speakers to replace the front with, that will give me the best performance..keeping their size in mind...and does anyone know whats the biggest size of speaker i can replace them with, or what size they specifically are, oh and the rear ones, what size? worth replacing? if so what with ?

random topic i know but i bin pissing it up since 3pm on an empty stomach LOLOL

    TA MUCHLY XXXxXXxxXX

hmm i currently have a cbr 15 evo vibe sub with 1600 watt amp and because clio has nice speakers in the front i put some after market sony ones which were 400 watt on each one was perfect for my car but obviosly not every 1 is the same there can be better ones.

oh yeh, obviously they arent the worst brand of speakers, but by no means are they the best.

just remember numbers aren't exactly what you're lookin for, DLS components are RMS 90 or something silly, but I garuntee they will be louder and better quality then your sony speakers.

hertz dsk componants, cant go wrong and a fucking bargin at this price. seriously the quality easyily the best for any comp's under 200 quid, 60 rms which is more than good if ur runnin of a headunit(alpine ftw :punk: ) trust check em out

realy made well, only thing that lets them down is they have a shit idea for the crossovers there SUPER shit lol but you wont need to use them as the bimmer is already wired for seperate tweeters

and dont bother with a sub in a 4 door bimmer, the mettalsheet seperatin the boot and rear seats rattles like mad and the boot shakes all over the place REALY not worth subin up a bimmer unless uve got the coupe or 100 quid to spend on soundproofing just the boot!

dont run them through the headunit .

run the fronts and backs through a decent 4 chan amp

just out of curiosity are you running this 1600 (supposedly) watt amp in 4 channel for the sub AND other speaklers?
400 watt per speaker? out of sony's? this is peak (MABEY) not rms...

sony speakers REALLY are shit. sorry to burst your bubble, as for the sub/amp, dont buy from halfords

X2 with minor....if you want a nice decent sound system..cant go lookin to spend cheap money, yea alphine head units are BANGINNN....pioneer subs are good but they dont do that powerful speakers and are a bit over priced.

If there 13cms then they arent very small at all. get some decent components like pioneers or something at that size theres tonnes. obviousely you will run 6 by 9s in the back so just shift the fade back a bit
