blown over scooter

    Hi my scooter blown over last nite so I woke up to find the scooter on its side got a few scratches on it and smells of petrol wat can I do to make sure its ok to ride and could I claim on insurance?

    It fallen on the other side to the exhaust and is it worth taking it to my dealer I got it off 5mths ago new to have a look and sort out the damaged bits

    If you claim on your insurance, they'll only put your premium up next year to get the money back. Just check it over yourself to make sure everything work's as it did before.

    Don't bother claiming off insurance.
    The smell of petrol will be from it leaking through the breather hole in the fuel cap when it was on its side.
    Might take abit longer to start, as most bikes do when they've been dropped, but it should be fine.
