    Hi,

Just wondering what the opinion is of the forum on blanking off the unused stubs on the carb and manifold.

The manifold came with wee rubber bungs on the oil and vacuum feeds (both unused), but the one on the oil feed is not the tightest. Its not currently causing a leak, but would like to do something to secure it better so it doesn't become a problem. What would you suggest?

The old oil port on the carb is currently blanked with a short pipe with a bolt screwed in the other end. Is this suitable or is there a neater solution?

    Cheers

    Hi,

Used your advice. I wrapped the ptfe around the stub, pushed the bung back on, then tightened a cable tie around it to keep it tight!

    cheers
