black stuff coming out of exhaust

    i bought a speedfight 100 2 weeks ago and already i have to swap the engines coz the crankshaft is fucked, it has a tecnigas exhaust on it, there is like some grey and black smudgy stuff that has come out of it and is like thick n smudgy any ideas what it is, is the exhaust fucked or will it have been something to do with the engine??/

    Mine does it but ive got a standard pipe on my typhoon 125 and i think its 2 stroke mixed with petrol not too sure tastes nice though :) joke :p

    Two strokes generally have crap that comes out of the end of your exhaust. It can sometimes be too much due to the bike running to oily or to rich. Although both of these will decrease your performance they shouldn't cause any real engine problems so it's not a huge thing to worry about.
