right my little bro has been nagging at me for ages now to put a 125 lump in his 50cc.
i have heard the frame will need to be cut is this true? If not what if anything does need changing on 50cc frame.
i also need to know what is needed to do the conversion i know i need a engine and loom for a start but what else??

    cheers joe

no, if your askin questions about silly things like this you REALLY shouldent be doing a conversion....

why not just buy a runner 125?
conversions are all well and good, but even the best are technically unsafe bodgery. ether way id only sudgest somone attempt one if they fully understand every aspect of the build.. somthing as simple as 1mm on the engine mount will be the difference between the bike going in a straight line or crabbing like mad up the road. cornering becomes dangerouse, electrics get ignored plus the fact a runner can be bought for the cost of the parts (unless your paying some shitcunt to nick a bike)

dont waste your time, dont risk your own brothers life

did kind of expect that anwser i take it the stupid question was will it fit a fifty frame lol i did not think it would just wanted to do the research before i went ahead.
i would be more than capable, BUT at the same time i 100% know what you mean about mounts being slightly out would ruin the bikes drivability.
and yes would only save him a few quid if anything. cheers for the advise i will tell him to save up his pennys for a 125 then

or buy a frame/rad/engine/loom and switch the pans forks wheel and everything else. nothing wrong mechanically wiht that. obviously a diff bike so you can slowly build the 50 back up wiht the leftovers and sell it on to gain some cash back
