my bikes been blowing louder and louder so today i whipped off the standard exhaust and took the gasket off it looked pretty fucked. i put it over the exhaust and it didn't sit flush around the end of the exhaust. i tried to get it right by jently tapping the gasket with a hammer. it didnt work. i borrowed my mates old gasket from his standard pipe and it sat more snug around the exhaust hole but its still blowing. could it be a problem with the pipe? ive gone around it with cloth to clean it up. or shall i buy a new gasket?
erm i had same problem on mine mate just buy another gasket and it does not have to sit in that hole you get get ones just a bit bigger than the hole and you just put it between the exhaust hole and the cylinders hole and that there equal and just bolt it tight and it should be fine. and you can get em from donotlink pedtop
ok cheers mate im buying a new gasket tomo hopefully should be ok i noticed i need a new bulb as the tail light filament is fucked and im buying new stickers tomo oh welll haha
k i fitted new gasket to find out i had a crack in my pipe i think from where i had been riding it when it was blowing. put some exhaust repair putty on it and its going good.
