Similer thing happened to me years ago when I parked in London, someone knocked it over but someone witness it and took down the plate. now if I ever park near a car I always take picture before I go or sometimes I even video it and say the time and date for the video camera. Things you have to do nowadays lol
DUDE!!!!! Registration number needed asap. By law the driver should have left not only contact details, but also details of the vehicle. Details tomorrow of his/her insurance is not acceptable. Could be using a throw away mobile number. BADGER BADGER BADGER POLICE POLICE POLICE NOW NOW NOW !!!!!!! Re-reading your post, this person is an arsehole and you are likely to have issues with him/her. He/She, if they were any kind of decent person, would have returned your missed call, given you all the details there and then, apologised for the incident, and then said it might have been better if you hadn't parked so close. In which case you could have told them to open their f****n eyes.
I no mate ill be down rozza shop 1st thing if it dont happen just text to remind them i need there details awaiting reply
NO!!!!! Inform them NOW, this afternoon. If the person cannot give you their details within a decent amount of time, it is a good indicator that they don't have insurance. Tomorrow is not good enough. A mobile phone number is NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Promises of details tomorrow IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Deal with it NOW before they can change the phone number and YOU LOSE EVERYTHING!
Also before i go down there and make my insurance more expensive lol will i even get anything back as im tpft not fully comp But she admited fault in letter and text so im totally not to blame soz for all the questions
tpf&t means if its stolen or burnt out then your covered, it also means if your in an accident and its the other persons fault then your covered (current situation) but if your in an accident and its your fault then its only the other persons vehicle which is covered, you would have to cover your own damages. So in this case your fine, get it reported!
All expenses will come off her insurance, even a courtesy bike possibly. Shouldn't affect your policy costs. Plus the fact that she has already admitted liability.
Have you contacted your own insurance company?? I had a similar thing happen to me. I contacted my insurance company to say i'd been hit by another driver. The damage was mainly scratched plastics and the cost was around £400. The woman who hit my moped stopped answering her phone and as I didn't have legal fee's included with my insurance the only way I could get any money was to go to the small claims court. If I was fortunate enough to win my case I'd of received the money to repair my scooter and any legal fee's. As this would of meant me taking time off work etc I just decided to pay the £400ish pound and thought that was the end of it. Almost two years later I got a letter from my insirance company saying they were canceling my insurance policy as I'd not disclosed my "claim". Although I never claimed through the insurance company but paid out of my own pocket. They still class this as a claim as I notified them about it :-( So just be careful what you say to the your insurance company. You may think you're doing the right thing telling them but you may end up being bent over and done twice from behind :-(
Thing is he has no reg of the car no address details only a mobile number that can be trown away. Unless OP has that claims protection thingy
Let the police do something good? for a change!, even throw away phone no's leave footprints and last calls can be associated with a location, then it's jusy a matter of pieceing things together like female driver?-local garages repairing accident damage, etc.
