ive put all my original pieces back on my yamaha neos because my 70cc cylinder broke , got a new piston for my original and fitted it and it has power on take-off and downhill but as soon as i go slightly uphill or on flat it doesnt really want to move :/ what would cause this? im not 100% sure it has the original jet in if im totally honest , but would that be a majour problem? and what else should i check? thanks

Sounds like worn rollers or the variator shaft has grooves in it, preventing the pulley from returning.

It's probably grooves in the variator sleeve then. It's a metal tube that the variator pulley slides on.
