right so i changed my barrel and piston, it was all fine i was driving around for lets say a few hours when my bike just bogged out, after that it wouldnt start for about5-10 minuites, then when it started it was really smokey and didnt move over 5mph? (when i changed the barrel i cudnt be arsed to bleed the oil pump o put two stroke in the tank instead, so then the 2stroke pump can work its self and by the time the tank had run out the oil pump would be working) but im now thinking there too much oil to burn and thats why its smokey and not moving? any help would be great
well ur engine seized!! weither its a cold or hot seize ull find out by checking the compression!! if its a new barrel the compression should of been 150psi or abocve since uve seizued it itlll drop but as long as the compression is over 120 psi u kno wits fine anything under and its needs a proper rebuild!! always check 2 stroke pumps when rebuliding and evne lubed all th e parts when doing a engine rebuild anyway good luck!! btw the smoke is probably ur rings been burnt out if there's no oil!!
well yes it could be that theres far too much oil going into the engine, causing it to smoke excessively and perform poorly....or...as has been mentioned the rings may have gone :glare: only way to find out is to take the top end off and see, and bleed the pump next time or convert to premix only :rules:
