Yamaha Jog RR LC. Only done 6k Miles, bought new last year.
Only got racing variator/clutch and a yasuni pipe. Cylinder/carb etc.. is the same.

Ok so basically by bike has had its overheating light come on. I was like alright, i just turned my bike on it cant be over heating instantly. Stayed like this for few days then realised it was leaking something out around the middle of the bike.

Checked it out and here is what I say after loosening some panels:

Basically the radiator is ment to be screwed with 2 bolts onto 2 brackets. These brackets have literally been snapped in half (I have no fucking clue how...I don't do jumps on my scooter so i just dont understand how the have snapped in half...) :banghead:

The radiator is also leaking out the coolant, Im hoping this is because the radiator isnt on the brackets, otherwise I saw a new one was looking at £190.... It seems to only be leaking out each of the sides of the radiator not in the middle part and not like a waterfall.

I really have no idea what I should do about this, A friend can help fix it, but is it Ok/safe to drive it at the moment? So far I have just done short drives around 5/10 mins max only going about 30MPH max.

Also the obvious question is, anyone know about this, I know I need to defiantly remount the radiator onto the brackets but what if the coolant is still leaking? I really dont want to spend £190 on a radiator.... It shouldnt even be fucked the bike was brand new last october.. anyway sound.

Thanks for any help and reading this fat lot of text if you even did.

Found this, makes my whole post in the short form:

#2 - Where the brackets have snapped. You can see the bolts that go into them if you look where the bolts go.

#1 - This is mainly where the coolant is dripping off the radiator.

It should be in the workshop so I've put it there.

There's a jog rad for £33 on ebay. That's quite expensive compared to most other scooter rads on ebay but it's a more rare model.

It's probably leaking because when the brackets have snapped it's caused a hole. I wouldn't ride it like this as it would be prone to over heating.
