    Hi,

Okay i have a Piaggio NRG Extreme 2003 A/C and when i first start the bike, its great, fast acceleration, quick top end, high revving, but when it warms up, its shite, revs stay at 6000 as they do normally, but it just sounds sluggish and doesnt rev as loud as it did before, acceleration is lower, and top end takes forever to get to oh, and when pulling away it sometimes bogs, any ideas?

    Thanks

    James

Same as my old speedfight, I was told because the engine warms up the parts expand and its more work to push the piston up and down/crank to spin.
Somebody correct me if that's wrong.

Erm, it should rev well above 6,000rpm unless its restricted.

Should warm your engine up, dont rip it down the street on a cold motor its BAD why dont people realise this!! Even in cars its not doing the engine anygood to start up and drive off!

Sounds like a roller or electrical issue.. Probably too heavy/worn flat rollers.

Derestricted from Variator, nothing else, standard pipe, standard rollers, they the factory ones that are this colour and they are all black in the middle, so im guessing they are worn and that may be my problem? What weight are these do you know? as when i put 4.7's in, my ped bogged, wouldnt move :yahoo:

Cheers, But my bike is not on there, heard so many different stock sizes for my bike, some say 6.7, some say 8 and so on, Will it say in the Haynes manual? I got one downstairs, might be worth having a skim through if so, I'm hoping they are 5.3's as the has cause i got some new polini ones in the garage save spending money :hello:
