Hoping to purchase a 21mm for my set-up, just wondering if anyone has had any good/bad experiances with this carb as I have heard they are not very good? Product number on scooter-centre is: BGM8531 Thanks in advance.
ive got 1 good carbs tbh easy to set up too people give out advice without using/testing there prodcuts go for it mate
Also, it says: If there is already a PHBG carb fitted to your scooter than this one is a straight replacement. Is that saying if it is not a PHGB carb it is not a straight replacement? Sorry if this sounds dumb, just don't want to order the wrong thing. Thanks
Ok spot on, Ok I have a Yamaha Slider (2000), will I be able to get a 125 manifold as there are no real bigger brother models (like a 125 a runner)? Also, I already have a manual choke on there, can I use that? Last question hopefully, on scooter centre there is two torque drives available, one with a diametre of 33mm the other one 34, am I right in saying that becuase of the age of my ped I will need the 34mm? Or am I best off measuring my current one? Thanks
ok mate try get a manifold to fit 21-24mm carbs ? bigger inlet for the carb or it will be pointless and measure it mate or if you NO its 34 then go for it i dont no anything about sliders lol and manuel choke should be able to matey
I'm pretty sure this really is my last question lol, but the motorforce de-restricted manifold states that it fits any Del'orto carb up to 21mm, what are your thoughts on this fitting the BGM carb? Part no. MF15.16800 on Scooter Attack Cheers
\Yeah get the motoforce one mate and you dont NEED to change the reeds but its better too mate i have a mhr rep reedblock and its good or just cut down the standard 1 and put carbon reeds in
