thought that cuxi was pimp, well heres the same 230cc engine but installed on a cygnus-x with everything thrown at it, technically its slower as it weighs 120ish kgs and cuxi weighs under 90kgs..... still its essentially half a moto gp bike!.

Yeah i have to agree, even though these weird 4-strokes have had alot of money thrown at them, there still weird 4-strokes, and the parts are complete overkill for the power, i just see it as a waste of money, id rather have a savage 183 engine in a tatty typhoon...at least it will be fun.
It looks ok, but absolutely pointless?

Suppose some people would rather a "pose ped" rather than a "power ped".. I like bikes that are half way inbetween, mildly moddified, nice looking scoots.

That yamaha looks good though, I swear I've seen these pics on a chinese scooter forum boasting about scooter tuning in tiawan? Looks big over there, specially 4 strokes and china tuning.

I think it looks alright tbh.
I prefer all the custom bits to the actual bike ;)

i agree with what most you guys said, when i first came here and saw these bikes with radial brakes and suspension that costs as much as the ped new, i said 'but its only a 4 stroke' everybody looked at me as im some sort of alien.

They have a hatred of 2 strokes here and i have begun to understand why, its the heat, for a few months mow its been bothering me that my bike gets slower after 20 mins of riding and when i say that i mean huge fuck off difference in power :( .

so they love the 4 strokes as they are more economical (taiwanese are TIGHT) to them they sound more butch, dont lose power when they get hot and last longer.

in all fairness they do make good power, but still my 112cc can give the highly stung 230cc a good run for the money which says something about 2 strokes :D

also you'll find bog standard bikes with £200+ brakes on them, style over substance here in taiwan.

mates got a cygnus x and i love it, never had a go on it but still love it lol

hes got a stubby akroprovic on it and had the head skimmed a tad along with some transmission tweaking, goes like stink for a 4 stroke 125

but seriously ciaran dream machine paint jobs are shite loooool

Yeah i noticed, and if those pistons are opposing then thats just stupid and most likely unusable, id rather have a single opposing piston and have more feel, the front brake is where the stopping power needs to be.

it looks quite cool but dont expect any uk people creaming over it lol

end of the day its 2 completely different worlds 2 strokes are illegal where you are but over here 2 strokes rule, and i reckon the average tiawanese dude doesnt know what a runner or typh even looks like lol

basically you took that to ace cafe scooter meet lets say... theyd probably laugh as its a 4 stroke scooter that you barely see in the uk, but at the same time if ya took a show winning runner 183 over there they wouldnt take a second look at it qbut would prob laugh at the curly pig tail exhaust

im not jipping you or owt, just explaining that we englanders have a very different taste to you :nerd:
