fitting lighter or heavier rollers will alter how fast the front pulley opens, fitting a stiffer or weaker contra spring will alter how fast the rear pulley opens....

also a stiffer contra spring will push the drive belt back up the rear pulley (to the start position) faster as you start to slow down again.

when you fit a stiffer contra spring, in most cases you have to fit heavier rollers...
what happens is the stiffer contra spring will cause the rear pulley halves to squeeze the belt harder, the belt will move down the rear pulley slower, and it will feel like the engine is revving harder....heavier rollers will exert more pressure, pulling the belt down the rear pulley quicker counter acting the stiffer contra spring :)

why did you change the contra spring and rollers ? you only really need to fit a stiffer contra spring if you are experiancing belt slip due to a big rise in power/tuning...

contra spring that was in it was warped from the heat of the damaged bearings, also backed the nut off rear wheel,to take it off when i tightened nut back up rear brake seems to be applying slightly?

sounds like youve got a sticky piston in your caliper, the faster you go the tighter the brake will grab, due to heat expansion....you need to get the caliper sorted before you proceed any further :)
