iv only ever sprayed a tranny case once, when i was 16. i used vht paint, had a good finish and was very long lasting, hard to chip and and didnt run when petrol or watever hit the surface
yeah any heat proof paint , the only reason i used it was because i thought it would be longer lasting, wich it had prooven to be, but defo apply a few coats of that laquer too
hi there any rattle cans are fine m8 just use high build primer and make sure the casing is very clean .assuming youve stripped the paint if not and the original paint is still in good nick rough it up wiv 600 grit wet and dry primer paint and lacquer as usual .hope this helps get back to me if you dont uderstand or get stuck nibs
come on people.. its metal ETCH primer.. THEN lots of red oxide.. THEN colour. if its flat high build primer isnt necisasary.. sand ya shit befor you even try painting it. needs to be perfectly clean aswell (pannel prep to clean befor you paint)
