your best bet in my opinion would be a typhoon or an aerox as they have kept the same shape and they are for tuning.

new shape wise there are only 4 main ones i can think of from the top of my head:
    gilera runner sp50
    aprilia sr50
    piaggio nrg power
speedfight 3 (soon to come out)

the choice is pretty much down to you, its your bike so it should be chosen by you, have a browse on bikez.com and get the specs up of each one then buy which one sounds more appealing to you.

    hope this helps.

aerox's are shit if your over 5 foot (as in past puberty) if your a midge there wicked bikes im told, i cant ride one yet i fit on a zip... why has nobody mentioned a zip? fastest bike about (hence malossi/polini/everyone else uses them to race) or a typh, both light, simple, cheap and easy to tune/work on... fuck runners new shape nrg's and the like, all a big mess of overcomplicated fueling cooling and pannels.. christ just changing a spark plug on 90% of bikes is a nightmare...

zip or typh would be my honest opinion. but as dave said why not just pick one you like an go with it? anyting with a 2 stroke piaggio engine will be good

get a new zip sp - pick up a nice used one for £750
old shape nrg cant go wrong to be honest m8 - £400
tyhoon - perfect all rounder just not the best looking

yeah a zip sp is probs ur best bet as their fast as fuck and good price plus their piaggio

Your knees are almost up to the bars on an Aerox

Good bike but you feel like your nan in that seating position

    Like the others have said
    Runner SP
    Zip
    Typhoon
    Sr50
    NRG
    Stalker?

Personally I'd go for the Runner

runner/new nrg, twice the weight of any other in the list.... so no wont be good for tunning as its power vs weight on such a small engine.. a zip with half the parts would be as quick, they handle like shit also...

typhs are ugly? opinion, i recon there the best looking scoot ever made, but thas just me.

go to a dealer, sit on a few... handel, ing is all about how well you fit on a bike ether way.

Personally if i was going for a newer shaped scooter myself the gilera Stalker Naked would be my first choice. Simple, good engine to work with, looks good in my opinion and light and agile with 12" rims unlike typhoons unless you do an nrg rim conversion and have 13's

And personally i find aerox's alright to ride and i'm 6 foot 1 yet sr50's feel more stretched forward than my runner

to be honest the new shape runners dont look good at all, typhoons imo are nice bikes and i dont think you can go wrong, never rode an aerox so not sure about them dont like the look anyways.

no to runner. just a disgrace to the gilera name.
    typh, same old.
    Nrg is okay.
    NKD looks alright ac engine.
aerox is as everyone else said, bit small if your over 6 foot.
Zip sp - im biased as ive got one but :confused:hock: excellent fits my 6.2 body fine, dead comfy seat, dead easy access to the sparkplug/cdi.coil/exhaust mainfold etc.

I'll see if i can get a sit on one of the local chavvys aerox's for ya but i did used to own an MBK Booster which i think you may find is even more miniscule than the aerox, then theres the pitbike which i won't go into which was even smaller.

My mate rides a 1994 suzuki AE50, he's 6 foot 2 and weighs in at 16 stone and this bike makes a mockery of your overweight typhoons and zips......specified weight is 60KG's !

Point is ride whatever you feel comfortable on i like aerox's myself as it's got similar feel to the booster only a bit more stable
