Can anyone tell me the best set up for dellorto 17.5 phva? I have all jets to 78 and i want to run open air filter. Because now i set up jet 78 and open filter. And whatever i set up on the needle then the ped boogs. Standard 50 cc cylinder and polini 0.30 reeds. Anyone?
You shouldn't be fitting an open air filter to a bike with a standard cylinder kit fitted. It's near impossible to setup right and will make you lose power.
I had before a 72 jet and open air before and it was fine. Then some wanker in uxbridge steal the filter. And i was riding without it. Some dirt went in the carb and it didnt work as i sholud be. I have clean the carb but it was doing the same thing.. boogs on full.
Ok so terro said that is better to have the airbox on, so is on her now. On jets 70, 72, 74 and 78 she boggs on full throtle with airbox. What is the best set up for PHVA with air box? I do have all jets form 50 to 78.

Ok. so maybe some one will find that out use full. For airbox with polini filter in the jet size in Dellorto 17.5 Carb is between 68 to 72. Needle notch position is in the middle (3/5).
