I own a 2008 Benelli X50I and want to know does anyone know the rpm rating of the stock exhaust pipe? I see nothing restricting the pipe. I ask cause if it can to 45mph stock 50cc would the pipe be ok to use with a 70cc

yes it will be fine, but you will use only 30% of the power of that 70 cc cylinder. THE MOST important thing on two stroke is the exhaust, so try it with standard exhaust and if you are not happy put an exhaust :)

I only changed the front part of the pipe with an unrestricted pipe. I haven't run it wide open throttle yet but at half throttle it hit 45 mph. I have the scooter setup with Naraku racing clutch stock spring. It has a 19mm stock carb with a 85 main jet and needle set on three. I have 4.5 gram rollers. I am sure you are right about the pipe and after i break it in i will see what it can do before i change anything. I can say around 40 it hits the pipe and starts to take off but i haven't went full throttle yet.

I haven't rode it enough to see if it is a piece of junk.

Apparently from what ive heard the engines are not made by benelli, theyre chinese.

He rode his in the rain once and the electrics effed up and now his brake light flickers and the indicators dont work hahaha

I guess your friend has no luck. I know the bikes are made in China. To me is seems like it is made good compared to a the other Chinese scooter i have. Just cause it's made in China don't make it bad. I think if it rained hard enough any bike would screw up.

I finally changed the exhaust the exhaust on the Benelli x50. I installed a stage 6 replica. I had to change the setup i had. I had to drop the jetting and close up the air box. It took me a bit to find the right setup but now it runs fast.
