benelli 70cc 2 stroke air cooled problems

hi there i have a benelli 70cc air cooled and i took it out for a test ride the other day. i got about half way down my road doing about 40mph and it sounded like it was going to cut out. no throttle or anything. please help :beg: as this is the 3rd post about this bike problem :cray:. i will be very grateful for the help. thanks

 

FIrst things first , Check the main jets in the carburator make sure there is no rubbish in the carb, make sure ure air box hasnt unclipped or come loose causing no vacuum causing no rev situation and bogging down , check spark plug for fouling, throttle cable snapped? , if none of these then check piston for scorees seizeures, or worn piston rings 70ccs are not relaible! hope this helps

 

infact after reeding ure other ones im 100 percent tht u need to put a bigger main jet in happend with me i puit a 70 kit in and it died at 55 so i jetted up and it was fine!
